Description
The White Mountain Trail Club roots are that of a snowmobile Club; over the years we have evolved with the times to recognize and support all outdoor enthusiasts. The White Mountain Trail Club system is open to and encourages use by snowmobiles, hikers, cross country skiers, snow shoeing, dog sled teams and mountain biking.
The White Mountain Trail Club is responsible for maintaining approximately 50 miles of multiuse trails located primarily within the White Mountain National Forest. These trails are within the towns of Bartlett, Livermore, Harts Location & Albany. Trail maintenance is performed by volunteers who devote over 400 hours per year grooming, clearing trees, decking bridges and more.
While membership in the club is not mandatory to use the trail system it is through members and membership dollars that the club is able to maintain these trails for everyone’s use.
